Mystery Photo:
I put
the camera a few inches from the lock and zoomed in slightly to set up this
shot. I think this photo fits as a
mystery photo because it is an up-close of a locker knob, and it takes a little
time to figure out what it is. I did a good job with filling the frame in this
photo. I like this picture because of
where the blur is. If I could have done
anything differently, it would be finding an object more difficult to tell what
it is. I edited this photo by going to
the filter: cutout, and playing with the settings for that mode.

Shadows:
To set
up this picture I took a drawing model and put it on a blank table. I had a lamp and had someone hold it high so
I could get a good shadow. I think this
shot fits as a shadow picture because the shadow is defined and is one of the
only things in the photo to focus on. It
also had a good ground to wall ratio using the rule of thirds. If I were to set up this photo differently,
I'd probably put less space between the shadow and the subject. To edit this photo I adjusted the brightness
and contrast. I also put a ring of faded
black around the edges with the gradient tool, and turned down the opacity.
Reflection:

Building/Architecture:
Silhouette:
To set up this photo, I had someone behind the camera taking a picture of me standing right in front of the light. I think this photo fits as a silhouette because it has a dark figure standing in front of a bright light. I like this photo because it has an interesting perspective. This picture also has natural rule of thirds to it (the doorway). If I were to redo this photo, I'd put a brighter light behind myself. To edit this photo, I selected the dark portion, and made it darker by putting low opacity paint over it. Then I selected the background and made it lighter. The last thing I did was make a small amount of light come over the shoulder, by taking a shining light picture off the internet and inserting it.
To take this photo, I zoomed the camera in a little and made sure both hallways were in the shot. I think this photo is a good example of a reflection photo because it is clearly a reflection, and has in interesting perspective. I like this photo for its interesting look. If I were to do this differently, I would have gotten a tripod to make sure the shot was even steadier. I did not edit this one because I thought it looked good.
Body Language:
To set up this photo, I had one of my brothers stand by the angled tree and lean against it, while my other brother watched him. I think this photo is a good body language picture because it shows stress for the person to keep the tree up, while the other is watching with an amazed look, or thinking look. I like this photo because it's obvious to tell what is happening. If I could have done this differently, I would have had the person that was holding up the tree have their hands up higher. I kept this unedited because it was taken well.

Building/Architecture:
To set up this picture, I stood a good distance from our garage-like building. I think this picture makes a good example of an architecture picture because it is an interesting model of architecture. I like this picture because it is has interesting architecture. I would probably change angle I took this at a bit, and maybe remove some of the objects close to the building. I edited this photo by changing the brightness and contrast, and using the clone stamp tool to remove the mailbox in the background.

Low Shutter Speed/Motion Blur:
To take this picture, I had a friend hold the camera steady, while I slowly moved. This picture is a low shutter speed picture because it utilizes the shutter speed feature on the camera used to take this photo. I like this picture because it has a nice "ghost". I would have done this photo differently by using a tripod, and having a darker room. I edited this photo by cropping it and changing the brightness and contrast to allow the "ghost" to show up better.
Close Up:
To set up the close up picture, I held the camera a few inches away from my friend's eye and took the picture. This picture is a picture that is zoomed up on something, making it a good example of a close up photo. I like this photo because it is nice and clear, and has good lighting. I probably wouldn't have changed this picture. To edit this picture, I used a gradient map and chose multiple similar colors.
Student Choice:
To set up this photo, I got close to a branch covered in snow and took the picture. I like this photo because it is focused well, and it is a good subject. I would take this picture from a different angle if I could re-take this picture. I liked this picture, so I didn't edit it.
Emotion:
I set up this photo by crumpling and scribbling on the paper, breaking the pencil, and also folding the binder a couple times. This picture is a good emotion picture because it shows frustration and anger well. I like this picture because it is a good angle. I would set this up differently by maybe scribbling more on the papers. I edited this photo by changing the brightness and contrast and using the smart blur filter.
Posed:
I had my brother hold my dog to set up this photo. This photo is a posed photo because it is someone that was told to look at the camera. I like this picture because it is a nice picture of my brother and dog, and it isn't blurry. If I could take this photo again, I would try to get the do to look at the camera. To edit this, I changed the brightness and contrast, and I fixed my brother's blemishes with the patch tool.
Candid:
To take this shot, I set it up by having my dog run around the yard, and I took pictures. I chose this one because it was clear, and an interesting shot. This photo is a candid photo because it was taken without getting the subject's attention. I like this photo because of the angle and the dog looks nice. I would probably zoom out a little if I could take this photo again. I didn't edit this photo because I liked how it looked.
Framing:
I set up this photo by puting out my hands in the directors view frame position, while a friend held the camera and took a picture of the frame. This is a good framing photo because it has lines surrounding the subject. I like this photo because it has interesting angles. If I could take this photo again, I'd try to find a different subject. I edited this photo by using the radial blur (zoom) on the area around the balloon.
